You may have seen that during lockdown, we were sharing a number of older member success on social media.

We actually had some brilliant new ones happen during lockdown too – several members losing over two stone).

And dozens and dozens for whom a few pounds gained or lost was a stone or two better than they would’ve done if this had all happened before they were members with us.

But, I had some more time than usual.

And wanted to keep the ‘name’ out there.

One older video testimonial made me think.

In it Helen commented about how she thought about how fat she was “100 times a day” (www.facebook.com/myrise.co.uk/videos/344018850093942).

Which sounds a lot.

But, having chatted to a number of members since, they do (or did) the same.

A lot isn’t it?

Not far from our mind 24 hours a day.

If you’ve read these for a while, you’ll know that (in our opinion at least) tracking our food for, at least a few days, is the highest return on investment activity we can do.

Takes minutes.

Will help us eat better (and, if that’s our goal, lose weight) way more than any workout ever will.

Maybe 10 to 20 minutes to get the hang of the app in the first place.

Then a minute or two per meal.

3 minutes per day of mild inconvenience.

Or 24 hours of “thinking about how fat we are”.

Those numbers may change person to person.

Whatever you estimate yours are, I’m pretty sure the mild inconvenience will be for less time than the mild to major inconvenience and / or dissatisfaction of our body not being how we’d like.

If you’re a member and aren’t sure how to track, check the Nutrition section on the Learn tab of the app.

If you’re not a member yet, what are you waiting for? –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting
