The year is 2002.

——– Also no longer true ——–
The song ‘A little less conversation’ by Elvis vs. JXL is huge in the charts.
A cover of Elvis’ 1968 B-Side.
‘The King’ hits the nail on the head when he famously songs “A little less conversation, a little more action please”.
Bang on.
An amount of conversation is usually needed, of course.
Whether with others.
Or, more often, in our own heads.
But, ultimately, it’s not the conversations that lead to our results.
Particularly not those internal ones.
It’s the actions that follow them.
There’s an optimal level of conversation.
Just enough to make the decision that serves us best.
After that, any more is just likely to talk us out of it.
Or delay the doing.
Sometimes by ‘too long’.
Have ‘just enough’ conversation.
“Do I want to have a body I like the look and feel of more?”
“What can I, under the circumstances, do today to get closer to that?”
And, perhaps, that is it.
From there just take action (like, maybe, clicking this link and booking in to next week’s find out meeting –>Â myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).
Easier said then done, we know.
But, everything is.
More conversation will probably lead to it not happening.
“A little less conversation, a little more action please” 🙂
Much love,
