Every day we see a new blog or post on t’interweb about what we all need to do to get in shape.

I was reading one the other day.

“8 easy ways to get in shape” or something similar.

None of them sounded particularly easy to me.

And I work in this industry.

##############

Unfortunately nearly everything you read, watch or listen to is a bit like this.

A list of things to do.

Most of which we kind of knew already.

Or, if they were a bit more advanced, then doing them is unlikely when most of us struggle to regularly implement ‘the basics’ into our already busy and challenging lives.

It’s a it like being lost in the middle of the dessert.

And someone pointing in a certain direction and saying “The way out is 200 miles that way”.

Sure, they’re right.

But the whole journey is too big.

Too many opportunities to go off course on the way.

We might not even bother trying as it seems impossible.

Someone recently likened what we do to ‘laying breadcrumbs’.

All these emails.

All the videos, posts, etc we put it our members only group.

All the little conversations with have with people in person.

All, bit by but, leading someone along their journey to where they want to get to.

In bite sized chunks.

Step by step.

Changing mindsets, habits, beliefs, etc a fraction at a time.

Each little bit barely noticeable.

Until, before you know it, you’re well on the way.

And eventually, you’re out of that dessert.

The ‘what’ of what you need to do is rarely the issue.

You probably know the basics.

It’s the little steps of change that are key in getting you there.

So, keep reading these emails.

Keep watching, listening to, reading and interacting with all our other stuff we put out there.

Keep asking us, in person or by hitting reply now.

Just keep reaching for that next breadcrumb.

And you’ll get there, my friend 🙂

Much love,
