Get a pan of boiling water.

Or, at least, imagine you’ve got one.

Pop and egg and potato in there.

What happens to them?

You got it squire!

The egg hardens and the potato softens.

Just what happens.

No one shouts at the potato and tells it to ‘toughen up’.

The egg’s other half and friends don’t say “you should be more like the potato”.

Different foods and different people respond to the same situation in different ways.

Success in life comes from realising which you are.

Potato or egg?

Or whatever else.

Accepting who you are.

And setting and working towards goals in a way that works with rather than against that.

Playing to our strengths.

Accepting our differences.

Crafting our lives, our environment and our goals to work with who we are and to ever improve that (that’s what we do down here –>myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).

Rather than lamenting what we are not.

Much love,

Jon ‘Dauphinoise’ Hall and Matt ‘Scrambled’ Nicholson
