Have you ever heard the expression “throwing good money after bad”? Justifying spending even more money because of the money we’ve ‘wasted’ before. Where it would often make more sense just to move on. What’s already been spent has gone. Spending more doesn’t bring it back. And continuing to overconsume after we’ve already ‘spent’ too much doesn’t undo anything either. Lunch was bigger than intended doesn’t mean dinner needs to be as excessive as well. There’s nothing ‘written off’. Those extra calories can never ‘save’ the previous overspend. Throwing good calories after bad will never work. If you’re looking for solutions, consider our personal training in Macclesfield to help you manage your fitness goals effectively. Much love, Jon ‘throwing shade’ Hall P.S. If your version of one bigger meal often becomes “might as well write the day / weekend off”, that’s something RISE can help with —> www.myrise.co.uk/apply
