I was just thinking this morning “I’ve not had as many people apply through www.myrise.co.uk/apply as normal recently” (I probably didn’t phrase it quite like that, but that was the gist).
I want to check and, out of the applications that had come through, zero in the last few weeks were from clicking the link that goes in non-members emails.
I went to have a look and quickly realised why.
The last time I’d made some changes to the automations that send the blog text to various locations (social media, email software, etc) I must have mapped a wrong field.
The none-member version of the blog hadn’t been including the link, like it always used to.
Very silly little mistake on my part.
Probably cost me a few members over a really simple little thing that could’ve been fixed quickly (I say that – actually it’s just cost a bit more on paid ads as we still sell out every month).
But it got me thinking.
You might be doing something similar.
A quick little fix that will make everything else work better.
– Maybe spending a few minutes a day actually tracking our food so we know if we’re in a deficit or not (it’s way less effort than what we’re already spending time on)
– Possibly, if you’re a member, tracking your score after each workout so you can see your regular progression and become motivated by that
– Or shifting our food related decisions to a time when it’s easier to make better ones (Sunday evening online supermarket order for the win)
– How about having a set time when we look at our upcoming week and plan in our workouts?
– Or if you’ve been reading these and thinking about finding out more, clicking this link and taking the first (risk-free) step in changing your life —> www.myrise.co.uk/apply)
Like fixing a broken ‘field mapping’, all pretty quick and easy changes with big knock on benefit.
Much love,
