In 1936, Billy Butlin set up his first holiday camp in Skegness.

Over the next 10 years the Butlins empire would grow to 10 camps and truly set in the British mindset the idea of holiday camps.

One of Butlin’s sayings was “A week’s holiday for a week’s wage”.

Which sounds a fair swap, doesn’t it ?

Holidays are great!

But, as I’ve covered before, if the only part of our lives that we enjoy are our holidays and our weekends………

And the rest of it is a slog to get through to get to those points…….

Then I’m not sure that’s setting life up the best way for us.

I sometimes ask in Sessions what people are most looking forward to that week………

By far the most common answer is “The end of it”.

Which is a shame.

What we do at RISE is help people feel better, have a body that like the look and feel of increase their mental health, energy and mood all year round.

And a month of that costs about a day’s wage for most.

Half a day for some, day and a half for others maybe.

But a month of feeling and looking better and being happy with our life in general for a day’s wage, to me, sounds like a phenomenal deal.

It makes me sad when we get the odd comment about RISE being expensive.

I get that it cost more than joining a budget gym (apply now for our 4 Week Transformation / trial if you’ve realised that your health, fitness, energy and mood is an worthwhile investment –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .

But it’s always going to.

It’s a Group Personal Training programme in a private, members-only facility.

Costs of fraction of what the same level of support would do on a one-to-one basis.

And most one-to-one trainers I know don’t get anywhere near the results for their customers that we do.

A month of feeling better for a day’s wage sounds an amazing deal to me.

Much love,

Jon ‘Hi-de-Hi!’ Hall
