We’ve had a few conversations recently……..

With people who feel that they’re “failing at everything”.

Or “Finding life hard”.

They’re mainly struggling to change their eating.

And maybe a couple of other frustrations in their lives.

And it can be easy to allow these struggles to expand in the mind…….

And forget about all the other things that they’re actually doing pretty well.

The average day is actually a huge string of successes.

From getting out of bed……

To getting ready and eating (and possibly sorting the kids)……

To getting to work……..

To doing a days work……..

The whole evening……..

All the conversations and people you interact with……..

There’s thousands of things throughout your day that you do perfectly.

And relatively few that aren’t so good.

But it’s human nature to concentrate on those few.

Ignoring the 99% success rate of your daily decisions and actions.

So, whilst we’re all for working on those few things……..

Don’t be hard on yourself.

You’re doing pretty bloody good at the life thing, champ!

Keep it up 🙂

Much love,
