It’s always interesting looking at someone else’s Facebook feed isn’t it?
Looks like yours but kinda different.
You don’t know most of their friends.
The ads served to them aren’t like the ones served to you.
Just all looks a little bit ‘wrong’ doesn’t it?
If you went on my feed, you’d see an amount of posts in some of the groups I’m in.
Some are for FitPros, facility owners, etc.
Some free, some paid.
Unsurprisingly, the paid ones are much better.
I saw an interesting thread in one the other day.
About finding people who wanted to listen to what they (the FitPro) had to say.
And how hard it was to find said people.
To build an ‘audience’.
The funny thing was though, that when asked, most of them freely admitted…………
That they hadn’t been ‘saying’ much.
No, or fairly irregular, blogs.
No or fairly few posts on social media.
Or videos.
Or much of anything really.
They were wanting create an audience of people who wanted to listen to what they had to say………..
Without saying much.
Madness, I’m sure you’ll agree.
We only get what we want through the ‘doing’.
Maybe starting bad at it and it not working all that well.
Practising through to ‘better’ and it starting to get traction.
Maybe onto ‘pretty good’ and it being what you wanted it to be in the first place.
Like with our exercise.
And healthier eating.
We want to enjoy exercise more and be better at it.
But don’t do it.
We want to find healthier eating easier and more enjoyable.
But don’t do it.
Understandable in some ways.
But, ultimately, madness, I’m sure you’ll agree.
The only way we’ll find exercise healthier eating easier and more enjoyable………..
Is by doing it.
Starting bad and forced.
Practising through to better and maybe good.
Finding ways that are enjoyable or, at least, tolerable.
Like FitPros struggling to find anyone who wants to listen to them……….
While they’re not saying much……….
There’s only one answer!
Much love,
