If you’ve read any of these blogs before, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the power of tweaking the way we phrase things.

Not saying things that we don’t actually believe.

Because that’s pointless.

But changing how we describe certain situations and the phrases that we use can be a disproportionately big win.

Different words drive different thoughts which drive different actions and different results.

For something so easy to do, the benefit can huge.

He’s a really quick swap for you to try this coming week;

Instead of saying “I can’t X because Y”…….

Try instead “How do I X, given Y”.

The obstacle stops being insurmountable.

It doesn’t completely derail us.

We don’t stop trying because of the challenge.

We look at how we can still achieve the result, or at least a form of it, even though the challenge is there (something we help our members with and is a massive part of how they get lasting success that’s eluded them before. Like you would if you clicked this link –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .

Much love,

Jon ‘It’s good, but it’s not right’ Hall
