It’s human nature to, at times, seek comfort.

That’s perfectly understandable.

It’s a powerful realisation to have that comfort has an expiry date.

It doesn’t last.

Too much short-term comfort and avoiding discomfort leads to greater long-term discomfort.

Avoiding the discomfort of a workout (which we can make as enjoyable as possible –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply to find out more)creates the discomfort of a body we don’t like the looking feel of.

The comfort of some easier and / or more pleasurable food choices creates a longer term discomfort of challenges to our health, energy, and / or mood.

Avoiding the discomfort of the challenging conversations with our partner, children or colleagues, leads to the greater discomfort of relationships with those people that we’re not happy with.

Comfort is fine at times.

It has its place in our lives.

But, we can’t have it all the time.

It hasn’t expiry date.
