The next few days of emails are going to be fairly chilled.
It’s Christmas and I want you to enjoy yourself.
No worrying about your weight, etc.
I’m going to share a little game with you that we occasionally play in my family.
It makes us all feel good.
And, as we’ve mentioned before, being happy is ultimately what people really want from their ‘transformation’.
We call this game ‘Compliment relay’.
When we’re all sat round the table after a meal, we’ll take it in turns to pay a compliment to someone else.
Sometimes it’s in order.
Sometime random.
So, Alex might start with “Oli – I really like the way you’ve started pausing in the right places with your reading”
Oli might say to Jamie “You’re doing well at keeping your place tidy” (unlikely though, this one).
Jamie could say “Good counting Izzie”
Izzie follows with “You are a powerhouse Jon” (she does sometimes say this – after much persuasion).
And I’ll probably lower the tone with “Nice ass Alex”.
It’s a fun game – give it a go over Christmas.
It makes everyone feel good – which is surely the point of both Christmas and life.
Tomorrow, I’m going to tell you about another of Oli’s favourite songs, “Show me heaven”.
And what it means to your happiness.

P.S. Speaking of Alex’s ass – I’ve got a funny story for you.
Before Alex gets too worried – it’s a story in which I am the butt of the joke. So to speak.
I was involved in a group conversation on Facebook that included Alex earlier this year.
So when her reply popped up on my phone, I only saw that it was a message from her and cleverly replied with ‘Nice ass’.
Before realising that it was the group conversation.
That involved my sister and brother in law.
And both my parents.
Oh – and my 87 year old Nanna.
As the message below says – D’oh!
