I mentioned in yesterday’s blog about the pub I went to that was a ‘Digital Detox Pub’.
When we think of ‘detox’ we normally think of something to do with our food and drink, don’t we?
Something along the lines of a period of time where we just drink superfood smoothies or the like, yeah?
Often when we’ve got to the point of feeling so cr@p it’s time to do something about it.
It was never really the lack of ‘detoxing’ that caused the problem, was it?
It was too much “toxing”.
It’s that we’ve been alternating;
Retox – Detox – Retox – Detox………….
Over and over.
Retox and Detox aren’t really the right words.
Not just because I made one of them up either.
We’re not actually causing toxicity in our body.
And the body does a pretty good job of detoxing what it actually needs to all of the time.
And I don’t know if it’s the right way to look at it, either.
Maybe we could try;
Making myself feel worse – making myself feel better – making myself feel worse – making myself feel better999999
Sounds a bit less appealing, doesn’t it?
How about just make yourself feel somewhere between ok and pretty good most of the time?
Less sexy than “the latest detox”, sure.
But probably preferable, no?
Much love,

P.P.S. Genuine question – if you’ve been reading these for a while, what’s stopping you taking the next step with our programme? Either in person or online? Hit reply and let me know.
