If you want to join the marines you, obviously, have to pass various fitness tests.

Fit fellas (and fella-ettes) those guys.

I’ve met a few people who’ve joined the marines and they’ve described the absolute beastings they received on their way in.
By all accounts there is a bell at the front of the area they do these tests.
You can go and ring it if you want to drop out.
If the challenge becomes too much you can pop up to the front, give it a ring and it’s over.
But you’re out.
No marines for you.

There’s a bell in your life.
Something that will tempt you.
Something that you’ll want to go and ‘ring’ when the going gets tough.
It might be cake.
Or biscuits.
Or a bottle of wine.
You can ‘ring’ it anytime you like.
But you won’t get what you want.
Whether it be that slim, toned body.
Or those improved energy levels.
Better sleep.
And so on.
####################################
Next time you’re tempted – see those things as a bell.
Imagine that’s it – if you ‘ring’ it, you’re done.
You won’t ever get that thing you really want.
See how you feel about ‘ringing’ it then.
Much love,
Jon ‘Bell’ and Matt ‘End’ Nicholson
