Albert Einstein once said “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer”
Now he was probably fairly smart as well.
But it’s a great way to look at things.
Often those that are able to overcome the problems in front of them aren’t fundamentally different to those that don’t.
They just stick with it until they have.
After lasting over 15 years in an industry in which very few last past a few years………
I know it’s not that I’m ‘smarter’ than those that didn’t make it.
Plenty of them probably had better anatomy and physiology and exercise knowledge than I did / do.
But I’ve just stuck as the challenges of the job longer than most.
How to get and retain clients.
How best to help them make the changes to their already busy and challenging lives.
All that stuff that most FitPros kinda give up on and just concentrate on learning yet more variations to the exercises they already know.
And it’s the same with the people that manage to make those lasting changes and those that don’t.
Those that do just stick and those problems longer.
Who learn to a little set backs as temporary blips.
Not reasons to stop completely.
Thomas Edison took over 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at making a light bulb before he got there.
Each time he got a little closer.
Like you do each time you make a little change.
The ‘failures’ along the way didn’t make him stop.
Like your bad days don’t need to make you stop.
Be like Einstein and Edison.
Just keep going (or get started if you still need to –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).
You’ll get there 🙂
Much love,
Jon ‘Archimdes’ Hall and Matt ‘Newton’ Nicholson
