I was talking to a couple of Ninjas on Monday.

About their training, eating, etc.

They felt that they’d plateaued a bit.

Levelled off in their results.

Just “going through the motions”.

I told them this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.

They are still doing more than the vast majority of people do.

The results they have got still way more then they ever had before (check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you haven’t already and like the sound of somewhere that does results for your money, not just renting access to equipment of random beastings).

These motions they’re going through are way better than the opposite.

Where nothing’s happening.

Which, invariably leads to a backward slide.

Forward progress is, of course, sexier.

It’s always more exciting to be getting somewhere.

But there’s something said for standing still.

For going through the motions for a while.

Particularly over certain time frames.

Like December.

Not forever.

Perhaps until that next bit of progress comes along.

Either way though, when you’re not making progress……….

Going through the motions is fine.

Much love,

Jon ‘Loco’ Hall and Matt ‘Com’ Nicholson
