Have you ever seen the statue ‘The Thinker’?

You know – like a stone Bruce Forsyth with his forehead on his hand?

Made by Rodin, Wikipedia informs me there are 28 out of them dotted around the world.

A reasonable number I suppose.

But, do you know how many Action Man figures were ever made?

Millions.

Way more.

And there’s no ‘Thinking Man’ toy at all.

Because, let’s face it, Action Man sounds way more fun.

Because action is what gets us results.

There, of course, needs to be a certain amount of thinking behind our actions.

But often not as much as we end up giving it.

We end up ‘thinking about’ things for ages.

Way past the point where we’re actually adding anything to that internal conversation.

And, ultimately, thought alone will never get us anywhere.

It’s action that leads to results.

Enough thought then action is the perfect combo.

You’ve probably given sufficient (and then some) thought to most things you know you’d benefit from.

(More) action is all you need now 🙂

Much love,

‘GI Jon’ Hall

P.S. If you’ve been “thinking about” finding out more about what we do for a while but haven’t got anywhere yet, this is the action you need – – > myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting
