Helen Higgins has earned her RISE Reward bag – and at 76, maintaining muscle mass and getting stronger every week is a brilliant achievement. She has done it by showing up consistently and building up gradually through her sessions. In her very first session she completed the exercises without using any weights. Now she is deadlifting 30kg – an incredible example of what steady, consistent training can build over time. Because of that, Helen is feeling the difference across her whole life. As she shared: “RISE has changed my life. At 76, I am managing to maintain my muscle mass, and getting stronger every week. The first session I attended, I did the exercises without using any weights. I can now deadlift 30Kg, which is astonishing for me. I have much more energy and my dodgy hip is gradually improving.
