Often when we talk to people about how their hormonal balance is one the main reasons they find it easy to gain weight and hard to lose it……..

We’ll get a response along the lines of “Bloody hormones”.

Or questions as to why they have these hormones if they just make them fat.

The thing with hormones is that they’re all there for a reason.

They all do something.

Act as messengers to enable some important process to happen in the body.

Your hormones are a bit like employees.

Treat them well and they do incredible things for you.

Treat them like shit and they will revolt.

And, unfortunately, often without releasing it, our modern lifestyles treat our hormones like shit.

Toxins enter the body constantly from mobile phone signals, wi-fi, crap food, crap drinks, our drinking water, our cleaning, washing and beauty products and much more.

Messing up our production of different hormones.

Attempting to power our bodies on sugar rather a balanced diet plays havoc with insulin levels.

Constant stress, caffeine, dehydration and lack of sleep messes with our cortisol rhythms.

The masses of acidic foods and lack of alkaline foods in most people’s diets leaves our pH balance out of whack.

And affects both production of and reaction to different hormones.

In short we are messing with out bodies and they way they work.

Retuning as much as possible to nature is the key to getting the body to work as it should do.

Real food.

Natural drinks.

A balanced diet.

Minimising all the crap around us.

We know it’s easier said than done.

Everything is.

But it’s only as hard as we make it.

Much love,
