The other day my Facebook ad account got banned.
No biggie – it’s happened several times over the years.
Never any reason given and always overturned on appeal when I’ve asked why.
Happens to everyone I know who runs Facebook ads.
This time, whilst talking to the guy on support he told me to change my profile picture to a straight headshot with no one else in it.
As IDs (I have to upload the same photo of my passport each time this happens) are now automatically checked for facial recognition compared to profile images.
And my existing profile pic was a family shot where my face is slightly side on.
It took me ages to find a photo of just me, with no one else in.
The last I could find was my graduation photo from 21 years ago.
All the photos of me are with other people.
Doing fun stuff.
Because, let’s face it, stuff is more fun when done with others.
Nearly everything I was doing in the pictures that I couldn’t use were things that I probably wouldn’t do by myself.
But we’re brilliant fun with others.
Like exercise can be.
Let’s face it, going to a gym by yourself is pretty boring for 98% of us.
Can be confusing and intimidating too.
But definitely boring.
It’s a massive part of why people who’ve never got results before then get results with us.
And why, when people leave with the intention of “I’m going to take what I’ve learned from you and do it myself”……….
They rarely then actually do.
The Lone Wolf always starves.
So, if you (or a friend) are currently “lone wolfing” it, and not getting the lasting results you / they want, here’s how you / they change that –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply
If you’re already a member and thinking of going “lone wolf” then, hopefully, this is a reminder of why that never worked for you before.
Much love,
Jon ‘back and to the left’ Hall
