We’ve been chatting to a few of the guys coming to the end of Week 3 of their free ’20lbs in 8 weeks challenge’.

Seeing some amazing results from some of them.

A few of the ladies also told us of their concern that they were going to get big muscles by lifting weights.

“Not going to happen” we told them.

And we’re telling you now.

If you are a lady, you are very unlikely to get big muscles.

When you see female bodybuilders with massive muscles, they will be injecting themselves with various steroids and human growth hormone.

So, unless you’re doing that, it ain’t gonna happen.

Women naturally produce about one fifteenth of the amount of testosterone that men do.

Nowt to worry about – you have our word.

What most women should worry about is not going heavy enough when training.

For the first few weeks of our programmes we encourage new people to take it easy and get the hang of what we do.

After that though, the higher the intensity people can work at, the better results they get.

That might be a different position or version of an exercise.

Or shorter rest periods.

Or it might be a heavier weight.

It’ll get miles better results than lower intensity or hours of low intensity ‘cardio’ and it won’t make you manly.

Promise 🙂

Much love,

Jon ‘Wish it was that easy to look like Arnie’ Hall and Matt ‘Me too’ Nicholson
