It’s human nature to over complicate things.
Gives us a reason for not being able to do them.
What we do on our programme (myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting) boils down to:
Eat a balanced diet (one third protein, one third fat, one third carbs) of natural foods.
Drink more water and less other stuff.
Do a proper workout 3+ times a week.
Simple as that.
Sure, there are finer points to that.
But the basics are very simple.
They just need to be done.
Consistently.
There’s a great quote from former U.S. President Calvin Coolidge:
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
People often ask us for more info.
Education, if you will.
There a place for that when the basics have been consistently applied for long enough.
Or blame their genes.
Talent, if you will.
That might affect speed of progress, but can only be considered when the right things are being consistently done.
Until then……..
Persistence and determination are key.
They are what will get you there!
Much love,
