I’ve had a couple of conversations with former members in the last few days that I thought I’d share with you.
To be honest, they’re very similar conversations that I’ve had many, many times over the years.
The first from a member I bumped into whilst walking the dog.
“I’d love to come back” she immediately said.
“But I just need to get a bit fitter first”.
Which I get.
But I’ll also question.
It’s tempting to think that we need be at a certain level of fitness to rejoin (or join for the first time) something like this.
But the value of having the coach there in every session is that it can be scaled to any fitness levels.
Goldilocks.
Not too easy, not too hard.
Everyone working at an appropriate level for them.
Something we do to get fitter, not something we need to get fit to do.
And something we will stand a much higher chance of getting fitter by doing than by just doing our own thing (it’s www.myrise.co.uk/apply to increase that chance now)
Much love,
Jon ‘Fitness First 2002-2007’ Hall
