💡💡💡

After “Ironic” (see yesterday’s blog) came “I saw the sign”.

By Ace of Base.

I remember listening to this on French exchange in 1993.

The same week I kissed a girl properly for the first time.

Then two others that same week 😂

Anyway, did you see the sign?

I was talking to Alastair the other day.

One of our ninjas who’s done fantastically this year.

Check these two images of him – last November to this one –> www.facebook.com/myrise.co.uk/photos/3336041113116399

That image on the left was his “sign”.

It told him it was “time to do something about this”.

And you can see what he did.

That sign is sometimes a photo.

Usually referred to as “that photo”.

It could be not being able to fit into something.

Some clothes perhaps.

Or a seat belt on a plane.

Ninja Lee tells the story of not being able to fit in a roller coaster at Alton Towers and having to get off in front of the kids.

“Laughing it off but dying inside”.

He was back again last year having lost several stone and posted about this in our members only group at the time.

So, what was your sign?

If be interested to hear.

Hit reply and let me know.

What made you think “I need to sort this out”?

Or, if you’re not quite there yet, what could be a ‘pre-sign’.

Just like alcoholics don’t actually have to hit “rock bottom” before things change……

We don’t have to wait until it’s gotten “really bad” before we do something about it.

We can just make a decision to change.

It might be one particular sign.

It might just be a decision we make right whilst reading this.

Things aren’t where you like them to be?

We just need to start making the average of our decisions take us in the direction we’d like to go.

Doesn’t have to be perfect.

Just enough, on average.

Much love,
