In Tuesday’s blog last week I had a confession.

I admitted that I sometimes reuse little bits of old blog content.

Not much like.

At least 95% of blogs are written completely from scratch.

Bit I do reuse some old bits.

At the time of starting to write this blog, the blog I have just mentioned is due out tomorrow.

I’ve literally just scheduled it.

But I nearly didn’t.

Because, ultimately, I was worried what people would think.

Would people think less of me?

Would it devalue the blogs?

Would people be less likely to read them thinking that they may have read them before?

But I’ve come to three realisations.

Which, you’ll be unsurprised to hear, I will cover in three blogs.

Because, as you know, bloggin’ ain’t easy.

Firstly, it’s the truth.

And, usually, honesty is the best policy.

Particularly with ourselves.

Because it can be very easy to lie to ourselves.

To tell ourselves that we eat less than we really do.

To tell ourselves that we’re busier than we actually are.

To convince ourselves that we don’t have time for the things that will create the results that we desire.

Even when our screen time (and/ or an accurate time log for a few days) will tell us otherwise.

As the Jim Carrey film Liar Liar and / or the bible verse John 8:31-32 taught us ‘The truth will set you free’.
