This Friday’s blog is called “Why it’s so hard to leave food on your plate”.
I’ve written it twice.
The first time was at Wilmslow Leisure Centre while waiting for my youngest son Charlie to do his TumbleTots session.
I also finished off the half written one that’s scheduled for tomorrow.
And then the app I use crashed.
And I lost the changes 🙁
But it’s fine.
I’ve had to write them again, of course.
But it’s way quicker to re-write something you’ve already written.
It’s all in my head now.
Same as anything.
Hard the first time.
A little easier the second.
And so on.
The first times we do most things it’s slow, confusing and frustrating.
And we can quickly practice ourselves through mediocre onto “alright” to, perhaps, pretty good.
If we keep doing it.
New recipes.
Different food choices.
A little bit of planning ahead at times.
Tracking our food on an app for a few days to get some clarity on the impact of our choices.
Getting back in to exercise.
All start being “a bit of a pain”.
But quickly become less so (clicking here is, in our honest opinion, the best way you can get back to it and quickly reduce that ‘pain’ –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).
But, of course, that only happens by doing.
By keeping going.
We only find what we’ve previously being doing easier as we’ve done it so many times.
We’ve practices ourselves good at our other food and lifestyle choices.
The choices that will serve us better are no different.
Like re-writing tomorrow and Friday’s blogs was much easier than the first write…………..
All the stuff that will get us the life and body we desire will get a bit easier each time we do it 🙂
Much love,
Jon ‘Girl’ Hall
