Speaking of my wife going to work (yesterday’s blog), she said something about that that made me think the other day.
Pre COVID she was in the office 5 days a week, like many.
Nowadays her general intention is to go in a few days a week and work from home the rest of the time.
But some weeks that doesn’t happen.
The round trip commute is between two and three hours and, some days if she’s not expected in the office, it’s hard to justify that extra time.
The days she makes it in no problem are when she has meetings arranged and her train booked and paid for.
She said, as it says in the blog title, “I’d never just get up and go to the office”.
Like many of us would never just get up and go to the gym.
Much as we might like to tell ourselves we should or will.
Having an appointment………
Being booked in for a Session……..
Being expected (like out members are. Arrange your four week trial with a Money Back Guarantee for September at www.myrise.co.uk/apply if you think that would help you)………
Having someone waiting for you………
Having it scheduled in the diary……….
Doesn’t mean it’s 100% going to happen.
But it does make it much more likely!
Much love,
Jon ‘Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’ Hall
