In yesterday’s blog I referred to “tasty, hyperpalatable, super moorish, calorie dense food”.

Something that’s become progressively more prevalent over the last few decades.

100 years ago it was probably quite hard for most people to get particularly overweight.

Obviously possible just not as easy as it is nowadays.

Today high calorie food that’re really tasty are readily available.

It’s some people’s job to design food in such a way that it makes you want to buy and consume more of it.

Despite what some people will tell you, it’s not “addictive”.

There’s a definition of addiction which sugar and the like does not meet.

We can’t be addicted to sugar.

But we can be aware how easy It is to over consume with some (often sugar and fat dense) foods.

And use that awareness to help guide our choices.

Much love,
