Have you ever started something and it seems like the results are taking ages to ‘come through’?

 

You know, a workout or a diet or similar.

 

And after a few weeks, you don’t seem to have gotten anywhere.

 

Don’t look and feel any different.

 

Over the years I’ve seen it many times.

 

When people start with us they may get to a few weeks in and feel they’re doing everything perfectly but their body isn’t responding just yet.

 

“I’m waiting for the results to come through” they might say.

 

Waiting for Fitness Results

 

The thing is though, the human body doesn’t have a big ‘lag’.

 

It responds relatively quickly.

 

Not instantly, of course.

 

But a few weeks should elicit a sufficient response to notice.

 

Getting Fitness Results

 

So……….

 

If it doesn’t………..

 

What that invariably means……….

 

Is that what’s been done isn’t ‘quite right’.

 

There’s something that’s been a little bit “lost in translation”.

 

If often appears, on the face of it, to be the right stuff.

 

Exercising, eating better, etc.

 

But when further exploration is undertaken there’s always something that can be adjusted so that those results ‘come through’.

 

If you’re not sure what that adjustment is, three days of tracking food (and drink), with an app such as MyFitnessPal, usually highlights it.

 

I’ve never had a single person do this and think it a waste of time.

 

The numbers behind what we’re eating always paints a more accurate picture then our own, flawed, recollection does.

 

If you’re ‘waiting for the results to come through” or your body to ‘respond’, then stop waiting.

 

3 days of accurate tracking will tell you where things aren’t quite right.
