When you work in the fitness industry, there are certain times of year where more organic interest appears.
January and September being prime examples.
In the new year and after the summer holidays, more people are feeling ready to make changes to their health and fitness.
So we get more people approaching us.
Almost as inevitable is that, come early February and October, I see loads of fellow FitPros in the various fitness Facebook groups that I’m part of asking if “Interest has dried up for everyone else?”.
And the answers are always the same.
For those that are, essentially, just waiting for people to come the them, the answer is “Yes”.
Those, like me, that have things in place to attract people year round, still have plenty of enquiries coming in.
For those for whom interest has dried up………
It’s because they have stopped “watering” it.
It’s something that needs time, care and attention throughout the year.
Much like the plans for our lives.
If we go into a week where our only intention is “get through it” or “get to the weekend”………
If we struggle to answer the questions “What are you looking forward to this week / month?”……..
And “What were your biggest wins today / this week?”……..
Then is it any wonder we’re not overly enjoying life?
————- If you’d like to get to the point where you can easily answer those questions, then jumping in the programme via www.myrise.co.uk/apply will make that way more likely than just reading these ———-8
If our life is doing the equivalent of a plant drying up……..
Then we need to water it.
Spend time planning and structuring to get done the things that need to be done to create the results that we desire.
Book things in.
Get the buy-in of people who are involved.
Remember, it’s not “restrictive”.
It’s the exact opposite.
Much love,
