I mentioned yesterday that one of the reason people often give for not tracking their food is some version of “It takes all the fun out of eating”.
The irony often with that sentence is that it often comes immediately after someone description of where they are at……………
Their eating, etc……………..
And how they are…………….
Thoroughly miserable.
And if what’s making them miserable (their body, weight, etc)………….
Has been caused by their eating…………..
Then isn’t their food making them miserable?
Overall.
On average.
Happier in the short term, probably.
Miserable overall in such a situation though.
So……….
Doing something that will help with that.
Like tracking our food.
“Takes all the fun out of being miserable”?
Much love,
