Have you ever not done something because you “didn’t feel like it”?

I’m sure we all have.

About all sorts of different things.

And that’s fine.

We’re all entitled to decide what we want to do with our time (and other resources).

But, as always, I’m here to help people question their thoughts.

It’s worth asking ourselves;

“What would I have done if I had twice as much energy at that point?”

Would we have gone for that workout, made that different food choice, done that thing we’ve put off or whatever else it was that we “didn’t feel like doing”?

If the answer is “Yes” is it worth considering that “I don’t feel like it” was actually code for…….

“I don’t have enough energy”?

And, if so, is prioritising our energy levels perhaps the most important thing that we can do?

Unfortunately, sometimes the things we’re not doing because we’re low in energy………

Are exactly the things that will give us more energy.

But, if we remember that exercise, better food and drink choices and more sleep are actually investments in more energy………

And that “I don’t feel like it” is often code for “I don’t have enough energy”………..
