You know those big mazes made out of bushes?

Like you get at places like Chatsworth?

They look something like this:

Go in one end and try and make your way to the middle.

What would you do if you came to a dead end?

Give up and leave?

Hopefully not.

You’d retrace your steps and try another way.

And keep doing that at every dead end.

Learning from your ‘mistakes’ until you got there.

You’d have zero expectation of getting it right first time, would you?

And that’s the way to consider your journey from where you are know (somewhere between the entrance to the maze and part way though)……….

And where you’d like to get to (the middle).

Don’t get discouraged by setbacks.

Don’t give up when you do something ‘wrong’.

Know that you’ll encounter dead ends along the way.

That some routes may actually take you momentarily further from the end.

But that, by not stopping, you will get there with time 🙂

Much love,

Jon ‘Richard O’Brien’ Hall and Matt ‘Gordon Ramsey’ Nicholson

P.S. A point each for those middle names!
P.P.S. Yesterday’s middle names were quotes from Simpsons episode ‘Lisa The Vegetarian’ 🙂
