Some people will tell you that you should “never look back”.
That “the past is in the past”.
“What’s happened has happened”.
And I get that.
And I definitely agree that looking backwards can cause problems.
If it’s done unskillfully.
We can see it like a relay race.
We need to look back a little bit.
In order to help us then go forward.
The baton is the knowledge and experience that helps shape future results.
If we don’t look and drop it, we’re not going to get very far.
If we turned all the way around and looked back continuously, we wouldn’t do very well either.
Learning from what we done in the past……..
Recognising the mistakes that we’ve made……..
Putting better plans in place……..
Adjusting our approach to one that works for us rather than a theoretically better one…….
Is skillfully looking back.
It’s receiving that baton of experience and knowledge to propel ourselves forward in that race of life (this is the key to getting the lasting results that have eluded us, not just another list of things we’ll struggle to do —> www.myrise.co/uk/apply for proven help making these changes)
