On Monday it was our monthly coaching day.
Where we try and get InBody Assessments done for as many members as we can.
Alongside some interpretation and goal setting.
It’s basically a chance to see what’s happened results wise in the last month and to set a plan around that going forward.
As with every month, there’s some amazing results.
And there’s people who aren’t happy with what’s happened.
And various in-between.
—– Avoid anywhere that pretends that their members only ever get amazing results – they are clueless or lying ——
Sometimes when the results aren’t great, it’s entirely what people are expecting.
They may have had a holiday or number of social events.
Either way, they know exactly what’s happened.
And they’re often somewhat pleased with the ‘damage limitation’ that was created.
It was gaining a pound or two when in the past it might have been seven.
Sometimes people are disappointed that their their effort doesn’t seem to be reflected in the results.
“It’s not working” they might say.
And I get that that could be frustrating.
But it’s always worth remembering that it always ‘works’.
What we’ve done will always have results.
In both directions.
And the better choices we made will have still led to better overall results.
If we hadn’t have done the exercise that we’ve done in the last month and made those better food choices that we had made……..
And everything else had been the same……..
We would be in a worse position.
Not losing weight might be gaining weight.
Gaining a bit of weight might be gaining lots of weight.
Feeling a bit better might be feeling worse.
It’s worth remembering that all the better things we do have impact.
They always ‘work’.
Sure, I get that we might want better results.
And it’s great to put plans in place to make further changes (and I can help with that —> www.myrise.co.uk/apply )
But lets not dismiss the value of what we have done.
Much love,
Jon ‘from home’ Hall
