Have you ever set yourself a goal……Achieved it…… And been a bit “meh”?

You know – planned to lose some weight, lost it and it felt a bit “Is that it?”?

Set a work target and not been as happy as you thought you would be when you got there?

Because we often make the mistake of thinking it’s all about the goal.

That final destination we want to get to.

Not realising that it’s actually the person that we have to become along the way that’s the important bit.

The person with a body that feels better and can do more of what we want it to.

The person with the skills needed to achieve that target we set.

The person with the characteristics of someone who can do those things – the patience, the focus, the commitment.

We expect the reward to arrive at the finish line.

But much of it has been arriving gradually along the way.

Much love,

Jon ‘Don’t stop believing’ Hall

P.S. Don’t try RISE because you expect some magical feeling on the day you hit a goal; try it because of what can change between here and there –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply
