I mentioned in yesterday’s first ’23 things that I’ve learnt in 23 years in the Fitness Industry’ blog that I don’t know if I manage to get to all 23 of these.

But that’s okay

I know I’ll do far more than I would do if I didn’t even get started.

10 or 15 is still 10 or 15.

Better than zero.

Not doing the full 23 isn’t “failure”.

It’s just achieving a lesser goal.

Failure is a perception.

It’s our performance against some largely cursory measurement that we’ve decided on.

10 or 15 of these will be a success.

They’ll still help people more than zero.

23 is my ‘North Star’ and my overall target.

A destination used to guide the journey.

But moving along the journey always has value.

Getting further away from where you don’t want to be is always better, even if you don’t get where you set out to go.

It’s okay to aim for something and fall short.

And being okay with that will always mean we achieve more.

Much love,

Jon ‘Martin’ Hall

P.S. You’ll definitely move further away from where you don’t want to be body and energy wise if you click this link. I literally guarantee (with a Money Back Guarantee) it. And a far higher proportion of people get all the way than they do by just renting access to gym equipment —> www.myrise.co.uk/apply
