We’ve all been there.
You’ve had enough.
To eat.
Or drink.
Or both.
And your friend wants you to have “just one more”.
It’s all too easy, isn’t it?
Because ‘one more’ isn’t that much more effort on top of what you’ve already done, is it?
You’re already out and the bar is seconds away.
The food is already in front of you.
‘One more’ is rarely much more effort.
We know this.
And yet we usually try and do ‘ten more’ in other areas of our lives.
Go from not having worked out in years to planning on doing 15 sessions in a month.
Very few “better food choices” per week to twenty one.
Or more.
And it quickly feels too much.
So we stop.
So…………….
Why not just do ‘one more’?
One more workout this week or month than you’re used to?
One more bit of walking?
One more better food choice?
Maybe one more message or email sent, difficult conversation, date night, turning the phone off earlier and so on.
Then the same again next week or month, when the above has become the new ‘normal’.
Just one more.
Doesn’t feel that big a deal, does it?
But it adds up.
Within months it’s a substantial change.
When you’re struggling with massive change, just do ‘one more’ (one click on this link is probably the best one thing you can do –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting. The find out more meeting is tomorrow night).
Much love,
Jon ‘Hit me baby’ Hall
