You watched the Great British Bake Off?
Seems to be all the rage in some circles nowadays.
If you’ve not seen it, I’m sure you know the concept.
Amateur bakers compete in an elimination style contest with different baking related challenges.
Now, imagine you’re baking something you’ve seen on the show.
But you decide to make a few ‘adjustments’.
You don’t have any butter.
So you pop some tomatoe ketchup in.
You don’t feel like whisking, so you just vaguely swish the contents of the bowl for a couple of seconds.
You’re in a rush so you only bake it for 7 minutes, rather than the suggested 25 minutes.
It comes out and it looks awful.
A bowl full of lumpy liquid.
Who do you blame?
###################
It’s the same with what we recommend.
You want to make some adjustments?
That’s your call.
But don’t be surprised when the results aren’t like those who don’t adjust it.
Do the workouts, improve your tea but keep having cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, juice, etc for breakfast?
And the weight doesn’t come off?
We could have called that.
Don’t go for the weights or versions of an exercise we suggest as appropriate for you?
And your body doesn’t change?
Quelle surprise!
Flat out refuse to do the things we recommend to help with sleep and stress?
And the scales aren’t budging?
Who’d a thunk it?
#######################
What we recommend works wonders when done 95%+ of the time.
If you tweak it to below that 95%, it’s like the above ‘adjustments’ to baking.
You can’t be surprised when the result isn’t what you want.
#######################
We do everything we can to support our ninjas in making these changes.
But they still need to do them.
Not sure if what you’re doing is right (maybe you thought the above breakfast was ok)?
Need some help getting these things happening?
Let us know 🙂
Much love,
