—————- The next find out more meeting for our March programme is on Tuesday 23rd February which is in [cntdwn todate=”2 January 2020 23:59″ timeoff=”0″ showhours=”0″ showmins=”0″ pretext=””] Check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting to find out more, see what the meeting involves and, potentially, take that next step to transforming your life and body 🙂 ———————-

As I said in yesterday’s blog, the initial letter I received outlining the events around the knee injury I was being sued over, didn’t make me look all that good.

The description of the programme given, what I’d said it would involve and what I would do as part of it made my actions on the day and after look a lot more questionable.

But, again, I wasn’t concerned.

I had how it was actually described on file.

The Facebook posts and PMs were still there.

The emails sent out still within the system.

I could categorically prove my version of events – a trip that I co-ordinated and provision of a scoring system to track progress.

Not a ‘Group Personal Training session that I advertised then conducted with no briefing, warm up or cool down’.

Cold, hard facts always win.

Always beat opinion and point of view.

Our opinions on what we’ve being eating and why we’re gaining (or not losing) weight…………

Are always put in their place by accurate tracking of what we actually consume and comparison to accurate calculations of our energy requirements.

We get that tracking is bit of a pain in the arse.

But only a bit.

10 to 20 minutes to get your head around at most (if you have some support and direction on it that is. If you’re a member, check the Food tab on the app. If you’re not, check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).

Then a minute or so per meal to do.

We don’t need to do it, of course.

Just one of many methods.

If another method (trimming portion sizes, tactical swaps, some hard and fast rules around timings, food group elimination, etc) works for you, then that’s cool.

But none of them ‘automatically’ work.

And none of them are ‘needed’.

Accurate tracking is, from our experience, the one method that gives those cold hard facts.

And they always win!

Much love,

Jon ‘Call’ Hall and Matt ‘Feet’ Nicholson
