Getting sued (or someone trying to, at least) isn’t top of my ‘To Do List’, I’ll be honest.
But it was no biggie in the end.
Just something that needed to be dealt with.
I could’ve chosen to get annoyed and angry about the whole thing.
About the potential for it to go wrong.
About the damage it could do to my reputation.
About what it could do to our insurance premiums.
But there’d be no point in that.
No benefit.
Emotions can be great things.
A massive part of what it is to be human.
But they can derail us.
Stop us doing what we need to do to get the result we desire.
Life can, sometimes, be much simpler if we take the emotion out of the result.
Just work out what we need to do.
Make a plan to do it.
And then do it.
Easier said than done, of course.
Like everything is.
But it doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.
If our feeling and emotions help us do what we want, that’s awesome.
Crack on!
If they take us in the wrong direction then, perhaps, we could benefit from giving them less ‘weight’.
Make a plan.
Do said plan.
Get the result.
Much love,
Jon ‘Wheel’ Hall and Matt ‘Code’ Nicholson
