Just caught the new Quorn advert on ye olde tele box.

Where The Master Of The Mo-Bot recites the mantra of ‘Practice – Protein’.

They are two of the most important things we work on with our new dudes.

Most people when they start with us are the the standard western ‘Mega-High-Carb Diet’.

So we normally get them to redress the balance – reducing carbs a bit and getting more quality protein and healthy fats in.

You know – the way of eating that took us from being monkeys to space travel, before protein and fat were demonised.

#############################

Quick reminder, before we’re misquoted – we’re not recommending ‘Low Carb’ or ‘High Protein’ or any other such buzzwords.

It’s a balanced diet.

Most people have a very imbalanced one.

#############################

And practice?

Makes perfect.

Or permanent at least.

The changes that people need to make become easier with time.

It’s why their current way of doing things is so easy – because they’ve practiced it so many times over the years.

Try considering it that way.

Spend a month ‘practicing’ some, or all of the following:

Batch cooking healthy meals when you do have time
A good bedtime routine – relaxing, not stimulating
Drinking water
Prioritising your health over other, less important stuff

After month’s solid practice, you’ll have mastered it.

And it’ll be easy 🙂

Much love,

Jon ‘Aisha’ Hall and Matt ‘Amani’ Nicholson
