Money, money, money?

Sweet little lies?

From Fleetwood Mac to ABBA.

########## Dated reference alert #############

Anyway – money.

By far and away the most given reason for someone not doing something.

“I would join a gym, but I can’t afford it”.

“Money’s a but tight at the moment to do anything”.

Etc.

We get it.

We know money is tight.

It is for us too you know?

Even though we’re doing well for the Fitness Industry (where most take home less than minimum wage), we earn an average wage.

At the end of the month there’s nothing spare.

The thing though with the money ‘excuse’ is that it is usually given when there’s another reason.

As it’s much easier to say.

And there’s normally no ‘come back’ on it.

After all, if it was just money that was the reason, then everyone who says that would, of course, be utilising all the free options out there.

Running.

Home workouts you can get free on YouTube.

They’d also be eating as healthily as they could on their budget.

There’d be no alcohol, take outs, cake, biscuits, etc.

Just whatever healthy stuff their budget stretched too.

################

Money is generally just a case of priorities.

If someone wants to live in a nicer house, drive a better car, have better holidays, go out more, etc………

Instead of spending that money on their health and wellbeing…….

Then that’s cool.

That’s their choice.

Who are we to tell someone how they should spend their money?

The thing is though that people often don’t really realise it is a choice.

Our society takes the above things for granted.

We assume we have to have them.

And that our health and longevity is almost a ‘luxury’.

An after thought that can only be justified after we have paid for the other stuff.

Something to spend the ‘spare cash’ on.

The ‘spare cash’ that never comes.

As always, these emails aren’t just to help us get members.

If someone started running, press ups in front of the TV or a two quid Zumba class after this……..

Then we’d consider it a job well done.

But, if you think that transforming your body and life is worth the cost of a Starbucks coffee a day………..

And you haven’t tried us out yet……….
