In yesterday’s blog I talked about how, sometimes, we can just work harder.
We’ll be doing ourselves a disservice if we tell ourselves that we’re always putting in maximum effort.
And maximum effort is neither needed nor realistic.
But something closer, all else been equal, will always produce more results.
If we’re doing the right thing.
It’s really easy to get caught up on doing things that we think are beneficial.
To be putting the effort in where, unfortunately, it won’t really help.
We can try as hard as we like at cutting out various things in our diet………
Maybe cooking everything from scratch with fresh ingredients and no processed food……..
Making ourselves eat at times of day that we thought were better……..
Forcing ourselves to live a life that we’re not enjoying…..
But, if weight loss is our goal, it won’t matter if we’re not in a calorie deficit.
More effort is a multiplier.
It will increase the return from the right activities.
But we need to make sure we’re doing those right things (jump in, risk free, at www.myrise.co.uk/apply for help doing that)
Because effort alone won’t overcome that if we’re not.
Much love,
