I mentioned yesterday a message I got on a recent social media post.

Here’s another one.

On one of those shrinking morph-style member success videos you may have seen.

————- As in a before style picture transitions into an after style one, not Tony Hart’s mate walking away ————–

“No thanks – I’m happy being fat”

Now I’m sure some people are happy being fat.

That’s cool.

People’s happiness is their own definition, not mine.

I would say that I’ve encountered a very large number of people over the years who’ve told me that they used to tell themselves that they were “happy being fat”.

And have since come to the realisation that that wasn’t the case.

And I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had a single person who has lost a significant amount of weight and decided they were happier before and chosen to return to that position.

But, I’m fully aware that, in my ‘job’, my experiences of how people feel about their bodies will be somewhat skewed compared to the population as a whole.

Ultimately though, the key thing is that each person’s body is theirs.

To do with as they wish.

I wouldn’t email a florist and say “Not everyone wants to buy flowers you know?”

Or go into a Ford show room and say “No thanks – I’m happy with my Citroen”.

Happy with your body, health, energy, etc?

Fantastic.

What to change it?

Fine too.

We can help with that.

Already a member and got into a bit of a ‘sink’?

Talk to us and we’ll get you back to RISE.

Or, at least for now, to float.

Not a member yet?

Here’s the next step –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting.

Much love,
