In yesterday’s blog I talked about, essentially, working harder whilst exercising.

And about how no one ever actually works at 100%.

And that realising that is powerful.

Just getting somewhat closer to that will increase the progress that we make.

And, really, it’s the same with all effort.

Working smarter always has its place, sure.

But that combined strategically with more effort is a double whammy.

While we will have days where we look back and don’t think we could’ve done anymore………

I think we would be doing ourselves a disservice if we told ourselves we were always “trying our hardest” and “doing our best”.

I know I rarely do.

Again, doesn’t need to be 100%.

If anything that’s an unrealistic target setting ourselves up for perceived failure.

But some degree of ‘closing the gap’ between whatever percentage we’re on and 100% will make us better progress

In whatever area of life we’re looking at!
