Those of you that have me as a friend on Facebook will have noticed that my house has been taken over by dinosaurs recently.

We’re doing a belated dinovember – where the kids’ toy dinosaurs seem to come magically to life overnight.

They’ve been getting up to all sorts.

The other day they were in our fridge.

You can see it here.

I’ve had a few people comment recently that they found it interesting to see the contents of my fridge.

Which were mostly good.

I’ve mentioned before that my will power is no better than most people’s.

Remember that whole crumble I ate on Jamie’s Birthday?

Just getting healthy stuff in makes it very easy to eat healthily.

There’s no real choice.

We do most of our shopping online with Tesco.

No danger of stuff ‘jumping in to the trolley’ then.

Even with paying for delivery it will actually save you money as you don’t spend so much on certain things.

And they do ‘Delivery Saver’ where you pay a monthly subscription and get all deliveries included.

Check it out here.

And, if you do go to the supermarket in person, there’s a loads of ways to make getting a healthy shop as easy as possible.

I went through them with Sue and Helen from Macc the other day when I did the Supermarket-Showround with them.

Where we take people round the supermarket and share with them all the best ways to make sure you get the healthiest possible shop.

They found it mega useful and will have miles more of an impact on their journey of weight loss than using the same time for another workout.

It’s still available BTW – here for the 1:1 one, here for the group one.

One of the things we covered was having a set plan for the shop.

You know – a list and a route.

Taking 2 minutes to write down exactly want you want to get from a shop and thinking about where you’ll need to go in the shop to get it, will save you much more than 2 minutes in time.

And £s in your pockets and lbs on your waists.

Stick to the list too.

The first few times you’ll remember something else as you’re going round.

Don’t get it – the inconvenience will make sure you do a better list next time.

Tomorrow, I’m going to cover something we get asked pretty regularly – when’s the best time to make changes in your life?

Much love,
