In yesterday’s blog I talked about asking additional questions of people if the questions they’re answering aren’t leading them to the answers that will get them the results they like.

Sometimes, when I keep asking people questions when they feel they’ve answered them, they might reply with “You’re persistent aren’t you?”

Which is something I’ve been accused of many, many times over the years.

In situations like this…….

From members, who haven’t been coming in for Sessions and haven’t been responding to my initial contacts……..

From people who have requested that I contact them and haven’t initially responded.

Stronger words than “persistent” have been used, I must admit.

But, to me, that’s a massive part of what I’m here for.

People regularly tell me that part of what they feel they need is accountability.

And without persistence there is no accountability.

If someone asked me for accountability and I gave up trying to contact them after they didn’t respond once or twice……..

Then that’s not accountability.

People that promise accountability and then aren’t persistent with its application……..

Have miss-sold what they do.

If someone is looking for someone to just take their money and not be particularly bothered if they’re doing what they set out to do in order to achieve the results they desired……..

Then I am not their man.

The Fitness Industry is already beyond flooded with people that do that.

Hopefully anyone that knows me to any degree will recognise that I’m not a jerk with this.

It’s not about criticising people and making them feel bad……..

It’s about working together to create plans that will help them do what needs to be done for the thing that’s important to them (you can get some of that here – www.myrise.co.uk/apply)

Telling ourselves “I know what I need to do, I just need to do it” will probably produce the same results that it has before.

Much love,
