I mentioned yesterday that I’d come back to the actual trampolining my step daughter and I did at Energi the other day.
———— You’ve been chomping at the bit to read this since, no? ————-
If you’ve ever been to one of these places, you’ll know how knackering constant bouncing is.
Surprisingly so.
Same with soft play centres and the lots other things kids like to do nowadays.
One of the greatest things I ever hear from members here after they’ve been coming for a few months…………….
Is that they can now join in (or even keep up) with their kids when they’re doing this kinda stuff.
They’ve moved from being in the 95% of parents who sit and watch while main lining coffee…………..
To being able to get involved.
There’s an old saying in fitness – “Train hard, fight easy”.
Fine for the few percent of people who might want to fight or compete in some other way.
But I prefer “Train hard, play easy”.
When you can keep up with (to enough of a degree at least) the kids and grand-kids…………..
Or when you’re in a position you can do any activity or event should you wish……….
When you don’t feel the need to avoid things because you don’t feel able to do them………..
When your body can do pretty much anything you ask of it………….
That’s what it’s all about.
Train hard, play easy (last chance tonight, for you, or a friend, if that’s something you’d like –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).
Much love,
