Us FitPros are often guilty of trying to sell you ‘Point Z’.
Six pack abs, boundless energy, tonnes of mad sex.
All very laudable targets.
But from the Point A you may be at now, Point Z can often feel just ‘too far away’.
You might not be able to see it happening so it doesn’t really fill you with enthusiasm.
Sometimes Point B can seem to far away too.
It’s ok to just want to get to “Point Not A”.
To get away from where you are now.
To just feel a bit less crappy.
To have a bit more energy.
A few less aches and pains.
There’s no right or wrong.
Do whatever works for you.
Not quite happy with where you are right now?
Just take whatever little step that will take you a little away from that.

Maybe a slightly better food or drink choice.
Point B might come into sight at some point.
You may get to J or N eventually (Z is unrealistic for most).
But let’s just start by moving toward “Point Not A” for now?
